A huanghuali wine table, jiuzhuo, 17th century. Photo Sotheby's the floating-panel top secured within a mitered frame with molded edge and two transverse stretchers on the underside, on paired recessed legs of circular section secured by parallel stretchers, the straight apron finely detailed with a beaded edge and rounded spandels joined to the legs, the well-figured wood smoothly patinated to a warm golden colour; 81 by 92 by 59 cm., 31 7/8 by 36 1/4 by 23 1/4 in.
