In around 1400, the blue and white pottery that was produced in the Middle East was almost completely under the influence of Chinese export porcelain with blue decoration. well-potted, the generously swelling pear-shaped body rising from a short spreading foot to a tapering neck with broad everted rim, the exterior covered in a rich copper-red glaze, the interior and recessed base glaze white and with a six-character Qianlong seal mark; 30.5cm., 12in.
