the rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to an everted rim, crisply moulded to the interior with a ferocious dragon writhing beside a fish, its scaly body with muscular legs terminating in sharp claws, all encircled by a freely carved foliate scroll, the exterior moulded with lappets, covered overall in a sea-green glaze - 34.4cm., 13 5/8 in.
