The dish is carved to the interior with a diamond-shaped cartouche enclosing a recumbent rhinoceros gazing up at a full moon, encircled by scrolls beneath the well, covered inside and out with a glossy olive-green glaze pooling at the recesses, the base and foot unglazed. 7 1/8 in. (18 cm.) diam., box.
