well potted with a pear-shaped body rising to a slender neck and flared rim, supported on a neatly cut foot, finely applied overall with a rich pale blue glaze suffused with bubbles transmuting to a mushroom tone at the rim, the glaze falling short unevenly above the foot revealing a reddish stoneware.
