Lot 335. A small Longquan celadon dish, China, Ming dynasty, diameter 17 cm. Estimate CHF 1 000 / 1 500 (€ 930/1 390). Sold for CHF 1 000 (hammer price) © Koller Auctions Robust round shell with offset lip and wide foot ring. A central embossed decoration decorates the mirror, which is slightly elevated and thus protrudes in a brighter celadonton, as the glaze thickened at the lower edge of the cavetto. On the outer wall the celadon glaze is slightly cloudy.
