A pair of gold pillow ends, Ming dynasty, Xuande reign (1425-1435). 18.3 x 14.6 cm. British Museum, 1949,1213.1-2 © Trustees of the British Museum decorated with two dragons and a flaming pearl among clouds. Two rows of inlaid semi-precious stones frame the dragons. Both plaques are pierced around the edge for attachment to a pillow.
