The porcelain industry in the Tang Dynasty was known as "green in the south and white in the north", with green referring to Yue kiln celadon and white referring to Xing kiln white glaze. Xing Kiln is located in Neiqiu County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province today. It was founded in the early Tang Dynasty, became popular in the middle Tang Dynasty, and declined in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties period. Most of the Xing kiln wares are plain and unadorned, distinguished by their simple and graceful shapes and crystal-clear glaze colors. This white-glazed jar has a round and full shape, a lustrous glaze color, and is white and delicate, reflecting the porcelain aesthetics that were popular in plain ware during the Tang Dynasty. The word "ying" is engraved on the bottom, which refers to the large surplus treasury of hundreds of treasures. According to the "Old Book of the Tang Dynasty: Food and Goods Records", Dayingku was the private treasury of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, used for the emperor's court enjoyment and rewards.
