Ref.450, Case No.613058, Movement No.824511, made in 1931, sold on May 4, 1937 - Cal.10-lignes, rhodium plated 18 jewel movement adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions white dial with black enameled Breguet style numerals, blued steel spade hands, subsidiary seconds, two-piece large curved rectangular case with deco monogram RPB to the reverse, on leather strap, case, dial and movement signed, with period Patek Philippe presentation case - Case 25mm x 42mm.- Sold for $33,000 plus Premium and tax

Only five other examples of the reference 450 in a steel case are currently known to exist, of those only one with applied Breguet style numerals. This is the first time a steel version has been offered for sale at public auction with black enameled Breguet numerals.
This watch benefits from an excellent condition original dial.
