A group of seven embroidered or kesi-woven silk panels - 19th/20th Century

The first a red-ground embroidered fragment of flowering plants and rocks worked in satin stitch; the second a faded red ground embroidered fragment of auspicious symbols, clouds and scroll work in gilt couched threads and colored satin stitch; the third an ivory silk ground kesi-woven panel of Daoist figures with painted details; the fourth a panel made from four joined sections of a well-woven dark blue ground dragon robe with some gilt threads and painted details; and three other mounted panels containing fragments from kesi-woven dragon robes (most with fading wear, soiling). Various sizes - Sold for $4,750 plus Premium and tax
