An 18th century Chinese fan
In the cabriolet style of having two concentric leaves on the same sticks, the leaves depicting Chinese figures, many holding fans, with raised ivory faces; the reverse leaf with Chinese landscapes and foliage, to finely carved mother of pearl sticks and guards; the 5th stick from the right is broken and missing a piece and the leaf above split; in a floral painted fan box.
