An unusual celadon cup stand of foliate form. Early Ming Dynasty

Decorated at the centre with the character Fu for Happiness; the rim with an incised wave design surrounding flower-heads and other freely drawn motifs. 16.5cm (6½in) diameter. Sold for £4,800
