A Large Blue And White Beaker Vase, Transitional Period, circa 1640
Painted with peony and bamboo growing amidst pierced rocks, two birds in flight above, the lightly molded middle register decorated with a lotus plant, a branch of finger citron and another rock above a band of pendant leaf tips, with a brown dressing on the mouth rim. 17½ in. (44.5 cm.) high. Estimate $10,000 - $15,000
