A yellow-glazed molded archaistic ritual food vessel and cover, gui. 19th century

Of oblong section, the vessel decorated with bands of archaistic motifs, with a pair of loop handles issuing from dragon heads, and raised on a pedestal base with domed lower section, the domed cover decorated en suite and in the center with a foliated dragon amidst clouds surrounded by four upright flanges with scalloped edges, covered overall with a glaze of deep yellow tone. 11½ in. (29.2 cm.) across handles - Est. $10,000 - $15,000
