with steeply rounded sides radially fluted to form petal-shaped panels, the exterior crisply carved with lotus blossoms growing leafy stems beneath a keyfret border at the rim, the interior further carved with a central petal-lobed medallion enclosing a lotus spray within radiating petal-form panels of lotus florets, all under a rich green glaze; diameter 13 in., 33 cm - Estimate 20,000 - 30,000 USD

NOTE: A similar bowl but with different borders from J.T. Tai &Co. sold at Christie's New York, March 30th 2005, lot 332. Compare also a bowl from the Topkapi Saray Museum illustrated by Regina Krahl, Chinese Ceramics in the Topkapi Saray Museum, Istanbul, vol. I, London, 1986, no. 493.

the robustly potted bombé sides, decorated with a wide band of cash motif between narrow bands of bosses and a keyfret border below the galleried rim, the sides applied with rope-twist loop handles, raised on three mask feet, all under a rich blue-green save for the central well and the base burnt orange in the firing, together with a domed silver reticulated cover worked withnumerous chrysanthemum florets; diameter 7 1/2 in., 19 cm - Estimate 15,000 - 20,000 USD

the deep rounded sides resting on a straight foot to a slightly everted rim, the interior divided into eight trapezoidal panels featuring fish on a ground of waves radiating from a central flower, covered overall with a greenish-yellow glaze suffused with bubbles; diameter 6 7/8 in., 7.5 cm - Estimate 10,000 - 15,000 USD

well carved with an octafoil medallion enclosing a lotus sprig, encircled by a wide band of meandering lotus scrolls with a matching band to the exterior, rising to a flared rim with a further scroll band, all under a thick bubble suffused blue-green glaze; diameter 15 1/4 in., 38.5 cm - Estimate 6,000 - 9,000 USD

the shallow sides rising to an everted rim, the center impressed with a peony spray medallion, the fully open flower enclosed by foliage, the sides freely carved with a floral meander, applied with a glaze of pale olive tone, the base partially glazed; diameter 10 1/2 in., 26 cm - Estimate 4,000 - 6,000 USD
