Qianlong period & 18th century "Canton enamel"

In Georgian silver style with columnar supports above square pedestal bases, all delicately enameled with scattered floral sprigs, the blooms lavender on grisaille leafy stems, between narrow borders in grisaille and blue enamel, inside the removable bobeche further blue borders; 12¼ in. (31.1 cm.) high (2) - Estimate $12,000 - $18,000

Notes: A very unusual form to find in Chinese enamel; other English silver shapes, like the kettle-on-stand, are seen more often.

With large, central shou medallion encircled by colorful stylized bats, all reserved on a densely packed yellow floral ground, repeated on the exterior of the steep sides; 18¾ in. (47.7 cm.) diameter - Estimate $10,000 - $15,000

The cushion-shaped top painted with a European picnicking party and opening to a removable tray above a compartment fitted with four round boxes centering a diamond-shaped box; 5½ in. (13.9 cm.) wide (12) - Estimate $7,000 - $10,000

Finely painted with Western figures in a Chinese landscape, on one side attendants bearing tribute and on the other a couple picnicking with wine goblets; 7¼ in. (18.4 cm.) high (2) - Estimate $5,000 - $7,000

One side with European gentleman and his attendant, a lady in pink cloak on the other, a putto by her side, the curving spout with bird-head tip; 7 in. (17.7 cm.) high (2) - Estimate $5,000 - $7,000

Of Middle Eastern metalwork form with tall, slender necks and thin, curving handle and spout, finely decorated with lightly molded floral decoration and blue serpent scrollwork, a central shou medallion on each side and bats and clouds on the splayed bases; 14 in. (35.5 cm.) high (4) - Estimate $4,000 - $6,000

The flaring neck painted with Europeans walking in a m,ntainous landscape above a yellow cracked-ice band, the body with three ruyi-head shaped panels of Western figures; 7 3/8 in. (18.6 cm.) high  - Estimate $4,000 - $6,000

Very finely painted, one with Vertumnus disguised as an old woman and Pomona watched by Cupid holding a flaming heart, the second with maidens emblematic of the seasons; 2½ in. (6.4 cm.) diameter (2) - Estimate $2,000 - $3,000
