the deep rounded sides supported on a tapering foot, the central medallion painted in bright cobalt-blue tones with four large peony blooms amid leafy foliage within a scroll border, the well encircled with a meandering leafy scroll of peonies, the decoration divided by double line borders, similarly painted on the exterior, the base fired to a buff-orange tone.
