The large citron with hollowed-out interior and undercut fingers growing amid leafy stems next to a smaller citron, both supported on a reticulated stem that forms the foot to the container, the veins in the leaves indicated by incised lines; the pale gray-green matrix displaying some cloudy white inclusions and two patches of pale russet hue. 3 3/4in (9.5cm) high. Sold for US$4,000
