the compressed pear-shaped body rising from a flared foot to a tall cylindrical neck, painted in bright cobalt-blue tones with two writhing five-clawed dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amidst cloud scrolls and flame wisps and another dragon leaping from foaming waves below, the rim encircled by pendent ruyi lappets and the foot skirted with a band of circular dots; 41.6cm., 16 3/8 in. Estimate 20,000-30,000 GBP. Lot Sold: 22,500 GBP
