the waisted cylindrical body with flaring mouth, painted around the exterior with a dignitary gesturing and bestowing an edict to a kneeling cowherd, accompanied by attendants holding canopies and a chariot behind, all set in a terraced garden with jagged rockworks and misty clouds, encircled at the rim and the foot with incised chevron borders; 23.5cm., 9 1/4 in.
