Set with a cushion-cut sapphire, weighing 25.54 carats, to a pear and round brilliant-cut diamond-set gallery with pierced foliate detailing, between diamond-set shoulders, mounted in platinum, the diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 2.90 carats in total, ring size 6. Lot 710. Estimate: HK$ 1.6 million - 2.0 million / US$ 200,000 - 260,000 / £120,000 - 160,000. Accompanied by a certificate from Gübelin, stating that the 25.54 carats sapphire is natural blue colour, shows no indications of heating and originates from Burma. Report number 1010754, dated 4 Nov 2010
