Chrysocolla Chalcedony is also known as Gem Silica. This is a rare form that occurs in the oxidized zone of copper ore bodies of Arizona. It`s durability and desirable color makes it a fine gemstone of considerable value. This cabochon is a nice example of the beautiful blue/green coloration that is typical of the gemstone.
