A Rare Peachbloom-Type Glazed Baluster Vase, Meiping. Yongzheng Six-Character Mark In Underglaze Blue Within A Double-Circle And Of The Period (1723-1735). Photo: Christie's Images Ltd 2012.
The vase is well-potted with high, rounded shoulder below a short, waisted neck, and tapers elegantly towards the slightly flared foot. It is covered in a glaze shading from crushed-strawberry red on the shoulder to greyish red and celadon. The mouth rim and interior are glazed white. 9 1/16 in. (23 cm.) - Estimate $60,000 - $80,000
