The full rounded ovoid body rising to a short waisted neck, covered overall with a pale grey glaze suffused with a network of light brown crackles, the biscuit foot ring dressed in a dark brown slip. H. 31,7 cm. Estimate 30 000/50 000 €

A jar of similar proportion and size, covered in a pale blue glaze, was formerly in the T.Y. Chao collection, included in the Chinese University of Hong Kong exhibition Ch’ing Porcelain from the Wah Kwong Collection, 1973, illustrated in the Catalogue, no. 16 - Fine hairline crack to base.
