His love of nature is evident in his use of birds, flowers, feathers, leaves, and arrows, reoccurring motifs in the pieces he exclusively designed for his elite clientele. Known for his brooches, necklaces, and bangles, a Sterlé ring is fairly unique. Sterlé joined Chaumet as a designer in 1976 and closed his doors forever, thereby increasing therarity and value of any Sterlé jewel.
