H. 3.3 cm. Gold. A spiral of gold wire is wound around a core of gold wire to form a tapering, open hoop. A capsule with border of lanceolate leaves covers the tip. The broader end of the hoop is surmounted by a majestic lion's head protome with layered mane. The lion's neck is formed by a cuff richly decorated with tendrils, tear drops, squares and circles made of beaded wire. A ring of lancelolate leaves at the transition from the protome to the hoop. Spiral wire partially warped.
