A bronze 'Star Cluster' mirror, Han Dynasty - Sotheby's
the recessed field of sixteen-point star outline, with four equidistant bosses, each the center of a stylized floret set between constellation motifs with three bosses issuing from grooved lines, the upright knob formed by a further cluster of pointed nipples within a rope-twist border, some light-green encrustation on the silvery-gray patina. Diameter 4 1/4 in., 10.7 cm. Estimation: 5,000 - 7,000 USD
