Jade: medium apple green, not as deep and bright as photo, minor inclusions, translucent, good luster. With GIA report, no indications of impregnation. Diamonds: H-I-VS. Good condition. The square jade box carved with a bird perched on a blossoming tree, with stylized platinum buckle hinges and clasp set with rose-cut diamonds, centering 6 round cabochon sapphires, circa 1920. 2 1/8 x 2 1/8 x 1 1/16 inches. Jade: celery green with some light and deeper apple green mottling, translucent, 2 chips on inside edge, cream patch on inside edge where one chip is with hairline crack, possibly a repair. Cabochon sapphires: bright cornflower blue, lively. Overall good condition. Estimate $20,000-30,000. Sold for $25,000
