Of circular form rising from a flat base, the cover set with a circular enamel plaque depicting an elegant European female aristocrat looking to her left, wearing simple blue garments but with a mink or ermine collar, her elaborate brunette hair arrangement falling to her shoulders, all enclosed within a border of red garnet beads, the sides relief-decorated with a diamond diaper ground interspersed with dots and floral patterns. 6.6cm diam; 3cm high.
