The rectangular plaque carved and undercut with a stag and doe standing on a rocky promontory by stately gnarled boughs shading a tree peony, the mottled greenish white stone superbly carved in multiple layers and reversed by peaches and lingzhi growing on a riverbank. 3 1/2 x 3in (8.8 x 7.6cm). Sold for US$ 27,500 (€20,170)
