Silversmithing is a very old craft and silver, as an aristocrat among materials, has always symbolized status, wealth and dignity.
The jatte with Osmenia pearls is an impressive example of how the silver texture perfectly harmonizes with the color of the stones and creates an elegant and prestigious look. The bowl is decorated with fan-like motifs as a result of fine chiseling, the pearls enlighten the silver surface by alternating with small flowers and leaves, and a rouches embossed border gives movement and preciosity to the object.
As all Buccellati jattes, it is important and becomes a wonderful centerpiece at high visual impact, with a perfect combination of elegance and originality. At the dawn of the third millennium, Buccellati keeps on making his most demanding clients’ dreams come true, by creating silver objects of rare quality which are faithful to the silvermaking tradition of the past centuries.
