the ovoid body rising from a short spreading foot to a tall waisted neck and cup-shaped flaring mouth, set to the rim and shoulder with a phoenix-headed strap handle flanked by a small pair of strap handles at the shoulder, covered overall in brightly splashed cream, green and ochre glazes falling short of the foot to reveal the pinkish-buff body.
