the ovoid body rising to a waisted neck flaring at the rim, brightly painted with rectangular panels enclosing equestrian warriors amongst fenced pavilions and bystanders, divided vertically by leafy sprays of morning glory, all between ruyi, chevron, foliate medallion and lappet bands, the neck with stylised leaf lappets enclosing floral scrolls
Provenance: Acquired in Europe in the early 20th century.
