with slightly incurved sides rising at an angle from a neatly finished foot of wedge-shaped section, applied with a deep finely bubbled milky-blue glaze transmuting to a mushroom colour towards the rim and vividly splashed with purple to the exterior and interior wall on one side, the glaze stopping in an uneven line above the foot and on the interior to reveal the orange-brown body.
