Set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 30.91 carats, to a stylised basket set with brilliant-cut and pear-shaped diamonds, highlighted to the shank with circular-cut sapphires, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.25 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold. Ring size: 6 ¾. Estimate: HK$7,000,000 - 8,000,000 (US$900,000 - 1,030,000). Sold for HK$8,260,000

Accompanied by SSEF report numbered 69182, dated 18 July 2013, stating that the 30.91 carat sapphire is natural, of Burmese origin, blue of strong saturation, with no indications of heating.
