A pair of small yellow-ground green and aubergine-enameled 'Dragon' dishes, Daoguang six-character seal marks in aubergine enamels and of the period (1821-1850). Estimate HK$180,000 - HK$280,000 ($23,330 - $36,291). Price Realized HK$200,000 ($25,922). Photo Christie's Image Ltd 2015.
Each is finely incised on the interior with two scaly dragons, one green and the other aubergine-enamelled, contesting a flaming pearl, surrounded by alternating floral and peach sprays on the well. The reverse is decorated with two chilong separated by lingzhi sprays. 4 1/4 in. (10.7 cm.) diam. (2)
