the tapering cylindrical body rising to a wide waisted neck flaring at the rim, delicately painted with an army officer holding a bow in his hand, surrounded by three boys holding various attributes, all set in a landscape with plantain and rocks, accompanied by an inscription reading Xuanhu jiazhao, the neck encircled by pendent leaves - 46.5cm., 18 3/8 in.
