The exterior of the vase is delicately carved and moulded to depict a dense network of overlapping lotus petals, rising to the mouth which is formed as a lotus pod with further petals encircling it. There is a pair of stylised scrolling handles to the sides; restorations. 14 1/8 in. (36 cm.) high
