modeled after the archaic jade prototype, the body of square section rising from a short straight circular foot to a tapering circular neck with a lipped rim, molded with the bagua (Eight Trigrams) to each of the four sides, covered overall in a lustrous pale bluish-celadon glaze, drilled six-character mark in underglaze blue.
