sturdily potted and set on a splayed foot, with a globular body below a tall tapering neck punctuated by curves from two compressed bulbous sections, covered overall with a glaze of sage-green tone thinning slightly at the rim, the recessed foot inscribed with a three-character hallmark Haorantang ('Hall of Greatness') in underglaze blue - 18.9 cm., 7 3/8  in.

NoteAnother sprinkler of identical size and form with this same hallmark but with a blue glaze, was included in the exhibitionElegant Vessels for the Lofty Pavilion. The Zande Lou Gift of Porcelain with Studio Marks, Art Gallery, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, 1993, cat. no. 21.
