Including ten pairs in various sizes and embroidery techniques but without any animal or bird for rank designation (many with wear, soiling); one pair of brocade woven badges in black, white and red with what may be the pheasant of the fifth civil rank; one pair embroidered in counted stitch and couched gilt threads with what may be the crane of the first civil rank (extensively worn); one pair of badges preserving only one applied bird, possibly the fifth rank pheasant; and two single rank badges, one without any animal or bird, the other with an applied silver pheasant of the fifth civil rank (both with wear). 9 1/4 x 10 1/4in (23.5 x 26cm) to 11 1/4 x 12 1/2in (28.5 x 32cm)
