Gerard Mas is a young sculptor born in Sant Feliu de Guixols, Girona, Spain. He studied at Llotja Art School in Barcelona. He evokes 15th century Florentine portraits applying his craft skills with humour that can only be contemporary. Mas is influenced by the early modern period and the Renaissance but he never forgets to add some elements from present days. His favourite materials are marble, alabaster, wood, resin and bronze.
