modelled with a compressed globular body resting on a splayed foot, the exterior skilfully and densely decorated with floral blooms borne on and wreathed by scrolling stems issuing foliage, all above an upright lappet border, the circular cover carved with four foliate motifs encircling the central short curved finial simulating a stem, applied overall with a pale sage-green glaze pooling to a deeper tone in the recesses
