Lot 336. Important 18.86 carats Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Estimate 2,155,000 — 4,110,000 CHF. Lot Sold 4,969,800 CHF. Photo. Sotheby's.

Set with an oval ruby weighing 18.86 carats between triangular diamond shoulders, size  521/2, French assay and partial maker's marks.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 76396 and Gübelin report no. 17100052, each stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, each with an appendix letter.
