each potted with shallow rounded sides supported on a slightly tapered foot, gently rising to a flaring rim, the exterior applied with a rich strawberry-red glaze fired to a glossy finish, stopping neatly and slightly pooling below the mouthrim and just above the footrim, leaving the interior reserved in white, the countersunk base similarly glazed and inscribed with a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue.
