The interior of the dish is painted with a roundel enclosing a figural scene featuring a scholar and a lady accompanied by attendants, all surrounded by a border with four cartouches enclosing further figural scenes. The exterior is decorated with four beribboned auspicious emblems. 

Provenance: English Collection, predominantly assembled in the 1980s and 1990s.
