The horse is naturalistically modelled with the right leg raised and the mouth open. The saddle has a tasselled saddle cloth, decorated in shades of rThe candlestick is modelled to the upper section with a cylindrical candle holder held in a circular drip pan raised on a ribbed stem rising from a larger drip pan, all supported on a spreading foot and covered overall with a translucent amber glaze.
Provenance: Acquired in the UK in May 1987.
