brightly enameled to the interior with a male pheasant standing on top of pierced rockwork, gazing towards its mate perching under a magnolia tree, all surrounded by leafy branches of lush peony, the rounded cavetto delicately pierced with foliate scrollwork enclosing the 'Eight Auspicious Emblems' below a painted band of lotus scrolls and a gilt rim, the base with an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue.
