finely carved on the head with two cranes in flight amongst lingzhi fungus, one grasping a wan character and the Buddhist emblem wheel, the other grasping a shell, the slender shaft further adorned with six cranes perching on an entwined branch of lingzhi, each clutching in its beak one of the remaining bajixiang emblems, the lustrous white stone with natural inclusions, fitted openwork stand.
