The ewer with a narrow upper bulb and waist and flaring out to an exaggerated lower bulb, the vessel applied with an upright pipe spout and a long, looping handle finished with a coiled sprout, the body decorated with chrysanthemum roundels and wispy clouds in inlaid white slip and iron oxide, all covered with a transparent celadon glaze.
